Object Information:
"The Pelican"
I love the colors, the blues and magenta and red, so Beautiful!

The Pelican has a particularly active mix of star formation and evolving gas clouds. The light from young energetic blue stars is slowly transforming cold gas in space to hot and it to glow. Particularly dense filaments of cold gas still remain, look for the two jets emitted from the HerbigÐHaro object 555.
